Biography
Hello, my name is Sylwia, and I was born in Poland. I moved to the UK in 2002 and since then have worked in various job rolls. I am a qualified chef and nutritionist. My most satisfying working experience was working with vulnerable adults, where as well as cooking nutritious meals for the community I was teaching cooking and about healthy eating. After my son was born, I changed my job to something more flexible but I was still having “appetite” for teaching and this is why I chose a career as a driving instructor.
I have been driving cars and riding motorbikes since 1996 all around Europe. Especially as a motorcycle rider I understand the need to be safe and responsible on the road, and the biggest part of that is not operating the vehicle, but reading and responding to what everyone else on the road is up to. I’m dedicated to helping my learners to achieve their goals and become competent, confident, and responsible drivers.

“A review alone won’t show enough gratitude for my learning experience with Sylwia at Elite. I initially went for elite because of the reviews, and every sparkling review out there is right. I was lucky enough to have Sylwia as my instructor for automatic and can say passing today has felt partially like a loss as I will miss our lessons together! She has struck a perfect balance of professionalism and fun, she knows exactly when to be stern with me so that I listen and when to crack a joke to ease my nerves. She took the time to get to know why I approached situations a certain way and learnt what factors impact my driving and she helped me overcome my faults. Though I failed the first time over nerves she kept me motivated to keep practicing and helped me get a second test asap, and now I feel I will miss her presence in the car when I drive! Overall, I highly recommend her as an instructor should you be learning automatic.”
