I have been crazy about cars for as long as I can remember. Having first got behind the wheel at the ripe old age of eleven years, (not on the road of course!) I eventually passed my driving test in 1981 aged 17 years and six days. I can still remember the look on the Examiners face as we jumped into my Cortina Mk1 1500 GT. Not sure who was more scared!
My first job was with BMW, my second job was a Close Protection Security Driver and my third was a Car Valet for a Casino in Mayfair (yes you get the picture) wow I got to drive some pretty impressive cars in that job. Unfortunately the Casino saw something in me and I moved into Business Development.
Fast forward thirty years I just felt it was the right time for me to work closer to home and find a job that I actually enjoy again. I feel I have acquired many transferable skills in the different roles I have experienced and I look forward to being part of the beginning of your own journey behind the wheel.
Away from work I enjoy running, cycling, football, golf and spending time with my wife and Son Daniel. (Car mad of course!). I can honestly say that my love for cars and driving has not diminished, and I am loving passing that on to my pupils.

"Just want to say thanks to Colin. He has been a brilliant teacher, and I've thoroughly enjoyed all of my lessons. He keeps calm, and explained everything really clearly. Thanks again!"
